An ex-con turns to Pete and Mac for help when he's accused of torching a warehouse on the waterfront. Certain that the warehouse owner is the real culprit, the two detectives plan a con to nail him, trying to convince him that he's a murderer who disposed of his victim under the burnt warehouse.
