YAU TAT, FAI-TING and YEUNG KWONG return to the hotel. WAI-WAN is worried and angry. She wants to slap YAU TAT on his face but YEUNG KWONG stops her. YAU TAT learns about YAU CHI's past story in Taiwan from YEE-LIM and he finally understands his mother. YEUNG KWONG treats YAU TAT differently. KI-YU's daughter doesn't allow him to see his wife before her death and YEUNG KWONG witnesses it at the hospital. KI-YU resorts to alcohol and YEUNG KWONG accompanies him.
